¡Hola a todos! Hello everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday break. I spent two weeks in Ecuador with my husband and his family and had a wonderful time! Next week all of the classes will have a short quiz to wrap up the units we have been learning. Students have been given a study guide to use to help them review for the quiz. Because the topics we studied are basic topics, there are many online resources/games-songs to help them. Below is useful vocabulary from the units: Weather: Hace buen tiempo = It's good weather. Hace mal tiempo = It's bad weather. Hace calor = It's hot. Hace frio = It's cold. Hace sol = It's sunny. Llueve = It's rainy. El cielo está azul = The sky is blue. El cielo está nublado = The sky is cloudy. Review weather phrases using this video. Numbers (increments of 10): 10 = diez 20 = veinte 30 = treinta 40 = cuarenta 50 = cincuenta 60 = sesenta 70 = setenta 80 = ochenta 90 = noventa 100 = cien *Part of the quiz will be the students counting as high as they can verbally to me. For students in 3rd grade, a goal would be for them to be able to count to 30. For students in 4th and 5th grade, a goal would be for them to be able to count to 50. Please review the increments of 10 to help them reach these goals! Practice counting to 30 with this video and to 50+ with this video. ABCs (only 3rd grade): Review letter names using this video. Feelings (only 4th and 5th grade): Review feelings using this video. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have. ¡Gracias! ¡Que tengan un lindo dia! Señora Palacios
